Roasting Coffee
Every coffee needs careful consideration. Green coffee density and brew method all need to be considered before roasting. Each step in the roasting process is carefully documented and fine-tuned to create an optimal roast for the coffee at hand. Roast profiles differ depending on the desired outcome. Typically, filter coffees are roasted for a shorter time at a lower temperature, which brings out the inherent characteristics of the coffee. Conversely, darker espresso coffee is roasted longer and at a higher temperature, lowering the acidity and creating a flavourful cup of coffee.
